The Sydney Taoist Centre was established on September 25, 2010. This is a wish from heaven, a trust from the Never Resting Bodhisattva, and a reflection of the gratitude and repaying of many Dharma Masters, altar masters, lecturers, and Taoists. The ceremony speech - the representative of the responsible group, Master Han, said: Today, Sydney is the first overseas Taoist centre established after the Never Resting Bodhisattva attained enlightenment. This is of great significance. This first was achieved by Sydney. This is the realization of the ideals and hopes of the Never Resting Bodhisattva, and it is also the inheritance and sustainable development of wisdom.

Reviving Confucianism and educating people

The ancient sages said: "To establish a country and govern the people, education comes first." The Australian Taoist Centre aims to inherit and promote China's excellent traditional culture; based on the Confucianism of Confucius and Mencius; focusing on advocating ethics and morals, character cultivation; promoting filial piety to achieve the integration of family relationships, stabilize people's hearts, and social stability; implementing filial piety as the main method of personal practice, and combining it with different local cultural backgrounds. Main Taoist affairs: holding large-scale free-spirited advanced training classes every year to help class members understand China's Confucianism, ethics, filial piety, and learning concepts; recognize the value of their own life and follow the path of ancient sages.

Cultivating talents and integrating cultures

We have set up altar masters, lecturers, talent training, five-year advanced courses and seminars, so that everyone can continue to learn and grow, understand the Confucian method of learning and practicing to be a sage inside and a king outside, and encourage active participation in various activities to achieve mutual learning and application. Children's classic recitation training class can learn Chinese and develop children's intelligence. English talent video conference, English Taoism theory research class, participate in the international English Chinese traditional culture classics seminar, communicate with the world, and promote the mutual integration and harmonious development of Eastern and Western cultures.
