Senior Master Hong, the head of the Fa Yi Chong De Daoist Centre, came to Melbourne to lead the establishment of two family Buddhist temples

As the old saying goes: "To govern a country, one must first govern one's family. If one's family cannot be taught, then there is no one who can teach others. Therefore, a gentleman does not leave home, but can teach the country."

On 10th April, 2025, Senior Master Hong, accompanied by other Masters, lecturers and accompanying personnel, visited Melbourne and led the opening of two family Buddhist temples, laying a solid foundation for the future development of Taoist affairs in Victoria.

The so-called family Buddhist temple is a pre-natal Buddhist temple set up at home after the whole family of Taoists makes a vow to worship immortals, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, protect the family, learn the operation of the Buddhist temple, accumulate experience for the opening of a public Buddhist temple in the future, and cultivate talents. It is an important organizational structure for self-cultivation, family harmony, and then guiding sentient beings and expanding Taoist affairs.
